Check if your device can run Flock XR

Contents

Flock XR creates interactive 3D graphics in your web browser. To use Flock XR, your device and browser need to support WebGL, a web technology that allows browsers to display 2D and 3D graphics.

Most modern phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers support WebGL.

Check whether WebGL works on your device

You can quickly check your device and browser using the WebGL test at get.webgl.org.

    1. Open get.webgl.org on the device and browser you want to use with Flock XR.
    2. If you see a spinning cube, WebGL is working.
    3. You should be able to use Flock XR on this device.

    What if WebGL isn’t working?

If the WebGL test says that WebGL is unavailable or disabled, try:

    • updating your browser to the latest version
    • trying another modern browser
    • restarting your browser or device
    • checking that hardware or graphics acceleration is enabled in your browser
    • installing any available system or graphics updates

If you are using a school, workplace or managed device, some browser or device settings may be controlled by your organisation. Ask your IT administrator for help if WebGL remains unavailable.

Once the WebGL test works, reload Flock XR and try again.
