Create an empty world where you can add objects, build scenes, and begin writing code to make your ideas come alive.
How to start a new project
- Open Flock XR in your web browser.
- Go to the top menu bar.
- Select Demo.
- Choose New.
- Your current project will close, and a new blank project will appear.
Always save your work first if you want to keep your previous project.
What you see in a new project
A new project gives you:
- a project titled New
- an empty canvas with canvas gizmos
- access to the full toolbox of blocks
- a clear code area ready to build your code
This clean space allows you to start any idea — a game, a world, an animation, or something else.
Tips for starting strong
- Plan your idea
- Give your project a clear name when you save it
- Build using code, gizmos, or a mixture of both
- Test often with Use Mode
- Start small and grow from there
